In-ceiling design, the reservation of inspection ports is a very important part. It not only affects the safety and service life of the ceiling but also affects the convenience of later maintenance and repair. Therefore, before construction, it is necessary to fully consider and plan the location and size of the maintenance port to ensure that it can meet the needs of use without affecting the overall aesthetics.

In the process of ceiling construction, in order to ensure smooth maintenance and repair in the later stage, it is necessary to reserve inspection ports at appropriate positions. Usually, the inspection port will be installed after the first layer of gypsum board is installed, and the finished inspection port will be used for fabrication. During the installation process, it is important to attach a ring of the main keel around the upper part of the inspection port and ensure that the hanging parts are directly fixed from the floor slab. At the same time, according to the size of the maintenance opening, it is necessary to add auxiliary (secondary) keels to enhance its stability. In addition, it is necessary to consider the thickness of the ash layer and adjust the height of the maintenance port appropriately to make it 2-3mm lower than the gypsum board surface, in order to ensure the accuracy and convenience of installation.
